YUFE in My Eyes

When I first came to Yunnan University of Finance and Economics I thought I was making a mistake by coming to YUFE to do my undergraduate degree. But soon my mind changed. In fact, coming here to study was one of the best decisions I ever made. The staff and students are all friendly, the course is great and the social life is excellent.
The campus provides a safe and friendly environment to live in. There is a dormitory made especially for international students with kitchen and western bathroom. The clean and comfortable dormitory, equipped with complete supporting facilities, is much appreciated. The library filled with more than a million books made life more exciting. There are few canteens in the campus and many restaurants and shops just next to the university. You have wide variety of cuisines to choose from. There are ATMs, playgrounds, hospital and gyms. In short there isn’t shortage of anything here.
There is an International Students club here in YUFE. It is one the best thing about YUFE. Something you will hardly find in any other university in this city. The club helps international students with their problems, arrange cultural activities and celebrate special occasions by gathering all international students. When I first came here the club arranged a student to pick me up from airport and helped me with all registering process. I made friends from all over the world and there’s always someone to help whenever I face a problem.
I would highly recommend anyone considering YUFE to give it a chance. Because it was the best experience I had in my student life. You can find out what you want to do in future as I did. It will help you to discover different cultures. It is an opportunity to meet new people from different countries and a different educational system. I wouldn't change anything of my experience. If you are a future student and you are thinking on going to YUFE, do not hesitate you will not regret.
